Mail server outage this weekend

Finally, finally, and I do mean finally, Mail-in-a-box now supports Ubuntu 18.04. This weekend, I’ll be upgrading the mail server to Ubuntu 18.04.

Depending on how things go, the upgrade should take about 2-4 hours. I’ll have to backup files, make a whole new box, reinstall Mail in a box, and then restore the backed up files.

The maintenance will begin Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 7:00 PM EST, and end at approximately 10:00 PM EST. My web server won’t be going down.

This also presents the perfect opportunity to upgrade my VPS 2016 to VPS 2018, but I really don’t feel like messing around with DNS records.
