Finally moving to Squarespace.
It’s official, I’m moving to Squarespace. The move date is scheduled for sometime in the next 1-3 weeks.
Here’s how everything will go down.
This WordPress installation, with all the links and such, will move over to https://wp.owenthe.dev. I’ll be setting up a comprehensive list of redirect rules in Squarespace so that everything can get properly redirected.
A few sites that live under https://owenthe.dev/<xyz> will get their own subdomain. Namely:
- owenthe.dev/snowday -> snowday.owenthe.dev
- owenthe.dev/staticarchive -> staticarchive.owenthe.dev
- owenthe.dev/jsclock -> jsclock.owenteh.dev
I’ll make a blogpost once preparations have been completed with a 3-day warning for the migration. One last blogpost will be made once the migration is complete on the WordPress site.
This is a move I’ve been sitting on for months, as I find my WordPress site to be inadequate, and find the future in my Squarespace website to show my work.
